Alison Allen

Alison is a highly respected Special Counsel with over 16 years of experience practicing exclusively in family law. Since her admission in 2009, she has devoted her career to helping individuals and families navigate some of the most challenging and emotionally complex periods of their lives.

Throughout her career, Alison has advised and represented clients across the full spectrum of family law matters. Her areas of focus include property settlements, parenting arrangements, divorce proceedings, Financial Agreements, child protection matters, family and domestic violence issues. She is known for her clear, strategic thinking and her ability to bring calm and structure to even the most difficult disputes.

In 2017, Alison undertook Collaborative Practice training, further expanding her toolkit for resolving family law disputes with dignity and respect. As a collaboratively trained lawyer, she is committed to helping clients reach mutually agreeable outcomes without resorting to litigation. 

Alison works closely with clients to ensure they feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout the legal process. She is passionate about helping her clients understand their rights and options, always aiming to resolve matters as efficiently and respectfully as possible.
